Upholding Excellence in Quranic Education

At Emanlink Online Quranic Institute, we are committed to fostering an ethical learning environment rooted in the principles of honesty, trust, and accountability. Our Academic Integrity Policy reflects the Islamic values of Amanah (trustworthiness) and Ihsan (excellence), ensuring all students uphold the highest standards in their Quranic studies.

1. Purpose

This policy ensures:

  • Fairness and credibility in academic evaluations.

  • Respect for intellectual property and scholarly work.

  • Alignment with Islamic ethics and global educational standards.

2. Core Principles

All students, instructors, and staff must adhere to:

  • Honesty: Submitting original work and acknowledging others’ contributions.

  • Fairness: Avoiding unauthorized aid in assignments or exams.

  • Respect: Upholding the sanctity of Quranic knowledge and scholarly effort.

3. Prohibited Behaviors

Violations include but are not limited to:

Plagiarism

  • Copying Quranic translations, Tafsir (interpretations), or assignments without proper citation.

  • Submitting work generated by AI tools or third parties as your own.

Cheating

  • Using unauthorized notes or resources during exams.

  • Sharing answers or impersonating another student in online assessments.

Collusion

  • Unauthorized collaboration on individual assignments.

  • Distributing course materials without permission.

4. Reporting Violations

  • Suspected violations can be reported anonymously via our Integrity Reporting Form.

  • All reports are investigated confidentially by the Academic Integrity Committee.

5. Consequences

Violations may result in:

  1. First Offense:

    • Zero grade for the assignment/exam.

    • Mandatory completion of an Ethics in Quranic Studies workshop.

  2. Repeat Offense:

    • Suspension from the course or institute.

    • Permanent annotation on academic records.

  3. Severe Cases (e.g., falsifying certificates):

    • Immediate expulsion and legal action.

6. Appeals Process

Students may appeal penalties within 7 days of notification by:

  1. Submitting a written appeal to [integrity@emanlink.com].

  2. Providing evidence (e.g., drafts, timestamps) to support their case.

  3. Attending a review hearing with the Integrity Committee.

7. Our Commitment

  • Plagiarism Detection: All submissions are scanned via Turnitin or equivalent tools.

  • Education: Workshops and resources on proper citation of Quranic texts and Hadith are provided.
